Variety and CNN are teaming up for another installment of “Actors on Actors,” featuring some of this year’s top Emmy nominees.
Now in its 24th season, the award-winning interview series features Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow (Friends). Kit Harington and Peter Dinklage (“Game of Thrones”). Tracy Morgan and Marcelo Hernandez (SNL). Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn (“Scandal”). Elizabeth Banks and Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games). And so on.
“Following our town hall event with Timothée Chalamet last spring, Variety is thrilled to once again partner with CNN on the latest season of Actors on Actors,” said Variety Co-Editor-in-Chief and Co-President Ramin Setoudeh. “These interviews are sure to go viral in the coming days, and we can’t wait for viewers to watch this year’s Emmy nominees engage in insightful and thought-provoking conversations, including reuniting with stars of Friends, Game of Thrones, Scandal, and The Hunger Games.”

Variety magazine’s annual Actors on Actors TV issue, featuring a portfolio shot by renowned photographer Mary Ellen Matthews, will be on newsstands June 3. The video conversations will premiere one video per day starting June 3, first on CNN’s streaming platform (CNN.com/watch) at 9 a.m. ET, then on Variety’s YouTube page at 11:59 p.m. ET.
