Love Island star Vasana Montgomery has been dropped from the upcoming season of the Peacock show after a video leaked of her using a racial slur.

According to TMZ, the 26-year-old contestant from Beaverton, Oregon, was allegedly filmed singing the N-word in the lyrics.

A Peacock spokesperson told Decider that the video is privately owned and was only made aware of after Montgomery was announced as part of the season 8 cast.

Peacock did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Sadly, this isn’t the first time a Love Island contestant has been singled out for using offensive language.

Last year, Yulissa Escobar suddenly left the show the day after it premiered.

The show discussed Escobar’s exit 18 minutes into the second episode.

“Yulissa left the villa,” narrator Ian Stirling says dryly.

Escobar’s exit followed an uproar over her casting, as fans quickly discovered a podcast clip in which Escobar can be heard using the N-word.

“Right now I’m messing up my (N-word), he’s my (N-word),” she said in a video shared on Reddit.

In another part of the same podcast, the model said, “Are you in control of what she wears?”

Mr. Escobar later apologized.

Fellow islander Sierra Ortega also suffered after offensive racial slurs targeting Asians resurfaced online. At the time, narrator Ian Stirling told viewers that Ortega had left the villa “due to personal circumstances.”

A few days later, Ortega released an “explanation video” in which he explained that the words he used were “a slur. I had no idea what they meant.”

Earlier this week, the show’s official Instagram account urged its fanbase to be “kind” to the cast online.

“This is a space for fun, not negativity. So be kind, stay positive, and remember this is LOVE Island!” the message read.

With Montgomery no longer participating, other Islanders looking for love will enter the villa, including Anya Harvey, Beatrice Hutz, Melanie Moreno, Bryce Dettloff, Kenzie Annis, Gabriel Vasconcelos, KC Chandler, Sean Reifel, Cynthia Rea, Trinity Tatum, and Zach Georgiou.

Season 8 of “Love Island USA” premieres Tuesday on Peacock.
