Beyoncé supported Jay-Z’s performance in Philadelphia, where she was seen dancing to his song “U Don’t Know” offstage. It looks like she was dressed casually for the event.
On Friday, Jay-Z performed to a small audience in Philadelphia ahead of Saturday night’s big show at The Roots Picnic Festival. In a video shared on social media, his wife Beyoncé was also seen dancing along while performing his song ‘U Don’t Know’.
In the short clip, she can be seen rocking her wings with her long wavy hair down, wearing a gray blazer over what appears to be wide-legged jeans. She has a clutch bag in her hand.
The pair were last seen together at the Met Gala in early May, where Beyoncé co-hosted the night. There, she wore a diamond-encrusted Olivier Rousteing skull-inspired dress and a matching crown. The proud parents were joined by their eldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
“It feels surreal because my daughter is here,” Beyoncé told Vogue on the red carpet at the time. “Being able to share that with her is incredible.”
In March, Jay-Z spoke passionately to GQ about his daughter, saying how impressed he was with his 14-year-old daughter’s work ethic, especially when she appeared as a backup dancer on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour.
“It was amazing,” he said. “On the first tour (Renaissance), there was a lot of talk about her first performance. She worked so hard to get there, but she still wasn’t going there. She was still trying, and she was just starting to fight back. I guess… I saw her fight for the first time in her life. Like, not everything was easy for her. She fought for it. I had to take some of her off. Are you crazy, you can’t be on that stage when she sings “Six Inch Heels…”? ”
