Angelina Pivarnick suffered a miscarriage after announcing her pregnancy news on “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.”
“I woke up in the middle of the night. I’m having a miscarriage,” the reality star said in a preview for next week’s episode of the MTV show.
In a heartbreaking scene, Pivarnick tearfully tells a friend, “It’s really killing me, dude.”
On Thursday’s episode, the 39-year-old opened up about the alarming symptoms she’s been experiencing.
“I just don’t feel myself,” she explained in a confessional. “Some things are going on with me and my pregnancy and I don’t know what’s going on. I don’t even know what to do.”
During an emotional sit-down with co-star Sammy “Sweetheart” Giancola, Pivarnick said she was wearing the pads “with specks.”
Giancola, who was pregnant at the time, admitted: “It makes me a little nervous. To be honest, I knew right away when I miscarried with a chemical pregnancy, but then it happened.”
“I’m starting to get a little worried about you,” she continued. “I don’t want to think the worst, but please go to the ER to clear your mind.”
Pivarnick knew she “needed to get tested,” but she didn’t want to tell anyone about what she was going through because she was “absolutely scared of what I would find out.”
Pivarnick announced her pregnancy on the May 14 episode of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” revealing that she had tested positive.
“There’s no way it could have happened naturally,” she told Giancola at the time.
“Currently, there are no sperm donors,” she pointed out. “I never thought I’d be pregnant, but wow, I’m…pregnant. This could be amazing. This could be my fairy tale, my path, my baby.”
Pivarnick went on to call her partner, referred to on the show as “John Dooner,” and exclaim, “So, I have news. I’m officially, definitely pregnant. We’re having a baby!”
Pivarnick opened up about her infertility treatments during the Season 9 revival of Jersey Shore premiered earlier this month.
The Couples Therapy alum suffered a miscarriage in 2011.
