Police footage taken of Britney Spears when she was arrested for drunk driving in March showed the pop princess claiming to the officer that her mother, Lynne Spears, had once killed someone without being charged.

According to a video obtained by TMZ, one of the officers tells Britney that “driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or both is very dangerous,” to which the 44-year-old “Toxic” hitmaker replies, “Yes, I know. My mom actually killed someone on her bike, but I’ve never done anything like that before.”

“And nothing happened to her!…Why didn’t they arrest her? How did my mother get away with everything?”

Britney went on to claim that she “tried to kill” the pop star before starting a tense exchange with police after being told her mother was also being arrested.

Apparently this story is true. In her 2008 memoir, “Through the Storm,” Lynn described killing a 12-year-old boy named Anthony Winters in 1975 as he was rushing him to a hospital in Kentwood, Louisiana.

“The road was slippery from the rain and as I rounded a curve, an oncoming vehicle came in from the left lane,” she wrote.

“In an instant, I saw two boys riding a bicycle on the road. At that moment I had a bad feeling that I was going to hit one of them. I knew that no matter how hard I applied the brakes, the car would not stop, so I felt that it would be impossible for me to stop. One of the boys managed to get his bike out, but my friend, a 12-year-old boy whose house was very close to the accident scene, was hit.”

Lin, now 71, was not charged in the case.

Page Six reported on Thursday that additional footage taken at the scene showed Britney failing a field sobriety test, telling officers she had only had one mimosa earlier in the day and bragging about her tolerance.

“I’ll have four bottles of wine and I’ll be able to take care of you. I’m an angel,” she said.

According to Britney’s arrest report, she claimed to have taken several prescription medications, including the mood stabilizer Lamictal, anticonvulsants, antidepressants Prozac, and Adderall.

Police arrested Britney after multiple drivers called the “Toxic” diva, 44, for driving several vehicles “aggressively” and nearly “sliding” them in Ventura County, according to 911 audio obtained exclusively by Page Six.

In a 911 call, one person said, “I’m reporting someone driving erratically.”

The individual gave the dispatcher the location and described the BMW allegedly “weaving in and out of lanes” and “slamming on the brakes.”

After her arrest, Spears entered a rehabilitation facility in April. She was released later that month and was said to be “doing well.”

On May 4, her lawyer Michael Goldstein appeared on the singer’s behalf at a court hearing and accepted the “reckless” offer.

Britney was sentenced to a one-year unofficial probationary period and must complete three months of alcohol school, totaling 30 hours.
