However, fellow guest Chelsea Enekwesi shared a photo of herself with Swift at the gala, giving us a full look at Swift’s ensemble.
The singer chose a blue beaded Zimmermann dress with a mermaid on it, which she wore with Reformation mules with seashell details.

The look is a subtle nod to Swift’s childhood hero, Ariel from The Little Mermaid. On December 31, 2018, Swift dressed up as a Disney princess for a New Year’s Eve party. She asked her friends to dress up as their favorite characters growing up and shared photos of them together.

On the work front, Swift is keeping most of her upcoming projects private for now. However, Swift has not released any new music yet.
She spoke about her songwriting in an interview with The New York Times in April. After acknowledging that criticism has inspired her artistically, Swift shared the advice she gives other musicians about how much feedback they should consume.
“I was like, ‘Why am I reading your comments? There’s too much of it. Just like that, there’s too much unfocused criticism,'” she said. “But I kind of think, ‘This is part of it. Don’t let this stop you from writing or editing yourself or anything. If it’s an interesting point to you, that’s a gift to be able to write something. Maybe you won’t write anything that day. Maybe it wasn’t. But God, don’t go to the notes app and write about it. Don’t respond to the trolls in the comments. That’s not what we want you to do.
