Brad Pitt didn’t attend his daughter Zahara’s graduation over the weekend, but the rest of the 21-year-old’s entire family was in attendance.
Angelina Jolie was pictured with her sons Pax, 22, and Knox, 17, at a ceremony at Spelman College over the weekend.
The 50-year-old actress wore a floor-length gray coat and black boots.
Zahara’s siblings dressed up for the occasion.
Of course, the graduates wore black caps and gowns, with white dresses peeking out from the hem.
Her other siblings, Maddox, 24, Shiloh, 19, and Vivian, 17, did not appear to be in attendance at the event in Atlanta, Georgia.
It is worth noting that Zahara ditched her father’s last name when she took to the stage to receive her bachelor’s degree diploma in psychology on Sunday.
Instead of Zahara Marley Jolie Pitt, she was announced to the audience as Zahara Marley Jolie.
On Monday, amid headlines about the diss, a source told Page Six: “It’s unfortunate that people feel the need to overshadow this celebration by criticizing the father, who has already separated from his family.”
Pitt’s representatives have not yet responded to Page Six’s request for comment.
The “Fight Club” star and Jolie divorced in 2016 after more than a decade together, beginning a controversial and years-long legal battle.
Since their breakup, the former couple’s children have repeatedly sparked chatter by dropping the Pitt surname.
Zahara did so with her 2023 Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority introduction, and Vivian did the same when her production of “The Outsiders” was featured on a Broadway flyer.
Shiloh went as far as legally retiring his last name in 2024, leaving Pitt reportedly “devastated”.
Us Weekly last year published an update on the actor’s estrangement with his father and son, claiming that “several attempts to reunite” had failed and that it carried “deep emotional weight.”
The paper claimed that while Pitt has been seeing Knox and Vivian “regularly,” “the rest of their relationship is strained.”
