Allie Lubar “didn’t really care” about last week’s news that her ex-boyfriend James Kennedy was having a baby.
She confessed on Friday’s podcast episode, “Scheananigans With Scheana Shay,” that she was “shocked” by her lack of emotion over the news.
“I didn’t know he had a girlfriend,” the astrologer explained about seeing a video of Kennedy, 34, with a “young blonde” at the Coachella music festival in April, weeks before TMZ broke the baby news.
The 30-year-old “Perfect Match” star added, “I thought, ‘Whoa'” and wished the DJ “good luck.”
“He always wanted to be a father. That’s what we always did. He always wanted kids right away and I was like, ‘I don’t know what I want,'” she said.
Mr. Lubar claimed he was not currently in contact with Mr. Kennedy and quipped, “I promise.”
Representatives for Kennedy did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Notably, the “Vanderpump Rules” alums started dating in January 2022 and called it quits two years later.
After Kennedy was arrested for domestic violence in December 2024, Lubar moved out and confirmed their split the following month.
“Even though we are no longer together, I will always support James and wish him all the best in his sobriety and healing,” she wrote in a lengthy statement on Instagram in January 2025.
Ms. Lubar also revealed, “I am glad that the prosecutor’s office decided not to charge James because I did not want criminal charges. We got into an argument outside his house related to his drinking again, but I was not physically injured.”
She detailed the argument that ended their relationship in an April 2025 interview with People magazine, recalling, “It kind of spiraled. There was a lot of tension. … He was still gaslighting me. He was like, ‘I’m not drunk, you’re too.'” … We were just out there fighting. ”
Ms Lubar said she was “walking on eggshells” during the relationship and “monitoring” her then-boyfriend’s mood to avoid “exploding”.
She reflected on the situation on Friday’s episode, thanking her friend Scheana Shay for encouraging her to “block him” and stop the harmful “cycle.”
“People always think you’re so strong to get out, but I really needed you and my mom and my support group. … It’s so hard,” Luber said.
Although Lubar has yet to debut a new relationship, she appears on Season 4 of “Perfect Match,” which premiered on Netflix on Wednesday.
As for Kennedy, he has reportedly been dating his new girlfriend for seven months.
