Trouble in paradise?
Days after Cardi B and Stefon Diggs surprised fans by reuniting at the NFL star’s Mother’s Day event, the two were caught having a tense argument outside a coffee shop and gym in Bartonsville, Maryland, on Wednesday.
In a video shared online, the “Up” hitmaker, 33, was seen looking quite animated as she shouted at Diggs, who took Cardi’s aggression in a relaxed manner.
The 32-year-old athlete crossed his arms and leaned against the car as the rapper approached him.
It’s unclear what the couple were arguing about, but given Cardi’s actions, it’s clear the topic was pretty serious. At one point, the man Cardi was with was seen on video putting a hand on her shoulder in an attempt to calm her down.
TMZ was first to report the news.
Sources told the outlet that Cardi was heard telling Diggs, “That woman is dirty” during the confrontation, which lasted about 10 minutes.
Representatives for Cardi and Diggs did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
As previously reported, the former couple, who welcomed their son last November, piled on the PDA over the weekend, with Cardi making a surprise appearance on Saturday at a Mother’s Day wellness event hosted by the former Patriots player’s Diggs Deep Foundation.
A video shared online by sports journalist Kelsey Nicole Nelson showed Diggs kissing the Grammy winner on the cheek and affectionately putting his arm around her waist as they posed for a photo.
Shortly after, a source told Us Weekly that Cardi is “giving Diggs a second chance, but is not fully committed to him.”
The two stars reportedly called it quits in February (almost a year after going public with their relationship) as Diggs’ New England Patriots prepared to face the Seattle Seahawks in the 2026 Super Bowl.
At the time, it was reported that the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram, and a source told People that Cardi “couldn’t trust” Diggs.
