Immersive theater experience based on Pirates of the Caribbean comes to UK
Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: An Immersive Adventure, produced by Secret Cinema and Todayics and licensed through Disney Theatrical Group, is scheduled to debut in London in February 2027 for an initial run of 10 weeks.
Described as an “all-hands-on-deck experience,” guests will become part of the story as they witness Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl brought to life with interactive sets, live theatrical performances, music and stunts.
“Get ready for hijinks on the high seas! Featuring spectacular aerial stunts, fearless sword fights, and a cast of your favorite brave pirates, Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean is the perfect choice for the ultimate cinematic adventure on the raucous island of Tortuga and aboard the Black Pearl,” said Merritt Baer, Artistic Director of Secret Cinema and Co-founder of Todayics.
Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: An Immersive Adventure will dock at Secret Cinema’s newly announced flagship venue on London’s Greenwich Peninsula near the O2. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale from June 1, 2026.
“At Disney Theatrical Group, we are exploring bold new ways to extend storytelling beyond the proscenium and into immersive shared experiences,” said Angelo Decimini, senior vice president of licensing and partnerships at Disney Theatrical Group. Secret Cinema’s masterful craftsmanship and narrative ambition make them ideal collaborators as we work together to reimagine how fans can engage with this beloved work, not just as spectators, but as participants in a communal, cinematic, and unmistakably Disney-like live experience.”
