In May 2022, actor Robert Pattinson celebrated his 36th birthday in New York City, and both Stan and Wallis were in attendance. Photographer Myles Hendrik shared an Instagram carousel with a now-deleted pic in which the pair seems to be sharing a kiss. Naturally, this kicked off dating rumors, and the image disappeared. Wallis reportedly broke up with her boyfriend of four years, Chris Pine, two months earlier.
June 2022
The following month, they were seen together grabbing dinner in Los Angeles, per Entertainment Tonight.
An eyewitness told the publication, “Annabelle Wallis and Sebastian Stan had dinner at Mother Wolf in Hollywood on Tuesday night with two older couples and a man. It seemed like a date night for Annabelle and Sebastian, and they seemed comfortable and at ease with each other.”
The source added, “At different points in the night, Sebastian put his hand on Annabelle’s back.”
July 2022
On July 16, Stan and Wallis were seen in Manhattan sharing lunch. They embraced one another affectionately, and Stan was holding onto the leash of Wallis’s dog, Zeus. Wallis wore a black tank top and a leopard print wrap skirt. Stan wore a white T-shirt and jeans.
August 2022
Stan turned 40 on August 13, and Us Weekly shared pictures of him and Wallis celebrating in Greece together. She was also featured in a group photo of all his party guests, including friend Chace Crawford.
December 2022
The pair was seen again on December 14 in matching layered black looks, with Stan once again walking Zeus through the streets of New York. On December 18, Just Jared shared photos of Wallis and Stan seemingly shopping downtown, with Stan holding a large paper bag.
June 2023
On June 1, Stan and Wallis grabbed lunch with Lily James, Stan’s Pam & Tommy costar. They were seen laughing and chatting in pictures.
February 2024
Stan’s film A Different Man was screened at the Berlin Film Festival in early 2024, and Wallis joined him at the event. Variety shared a photo from an after-party that included the couple, Helen Hoehne, and Ramin Setoodeh during Studio Babelsberg Night at Soho House Berlin.
May 2024
Though they still didn’t officially walk the red carpet together, Wallis attended the Cannes Film Festival on May 20 for the world premiere of his film The Apprentice.
January 2025
They went red carpet official at the Golden Globes on January 5, where Stan won Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, for A Different Man.
When his name was announced, they shared a kiss before he headed to the stage. In his acceptance speech, he called out Wallis, saying, “Annabelle, I love you.”

The following month, Wallis joined Stan on the red carpet again at the 2025 British Academy Film Awards, where he was nominated for Best Leading Actor for The Apprentice. They also attended the Nominees’ Party ahead of the ceremony.

News broke that Stan and Wallis were expecting their first child together. In photos taken of the couple in New York published by People on April 24, Wallis wore a flowing black dress that showed off her pregnant figure. In the images, Stan walked beside her, and they chatted and laughed.
May 2026
Stan subtly confirmed the couple’s baby news in an interview with Deadline, which was published on May 11. He spoke about parenthood, telling the outlet, “I want to be a good dad.”
He added later in the conversation, “I’m feeling the responsibility of being a good father. And not to mention a good man. I’m 43, and I feel, in a lot of ways, I’m just starting to learn now. It’s just crazy to me. So, I love when I see I’m discovering different people’s point of view. I try to read as much as I can, no matter what the point of view is, just to understand it.”
Stan also offered a glimpse into the couple’s life together, revealing that Wallis has introduced him to British television. “What is the show that my girlfriend I watch all the time where you’re watching other people watch TV? Gogglebox! It’s hilarious. And it has a very weird, pleasing, soothing quality to it.”
