Taylor Swift is back in New York City after spending part of last week in London and Greece. The actress was photographed having dinner with her family last night. She wore a little black dress with a silver sequined bow by Valentino, putting a playful spin on a wardrobe staple.
Taylor Swift spent last weekend in London attending Travis Kelce’s teammate George Karlaftis’ wedding, and part of the weekend in Greece. But on Monday, she was back in New York City, enjoying dinner with her family at The Eighty-Six steakhouse in the West Village.
Swift dressed up for the occasion, choosing a little black Valentino dress with a silver sequin bow at the top. She accessorized with a black open bag and silver Christian Louboutin heels.
Swift also wore a black look in London. On Thursday, she was photographed wearing a floral corset midi dress by Zimmerman. The next day, she stepped out wearing a black silk Staud top and Fleur du Mal slip skirt. Both parts were trimmed with lace.
The singer has generally kept a low profile this spring. She made her first and only red carpet appearance of the year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March.
Last month, she gave a rare interview to The New York Times in which she spoke at length about her songwriting. She spoke candidly about how the criticism affected her work. “Criticism is a huge motivator for me,” she began. “That was a big jumping off point, like a creative writing prompt or something. There are a lot of songs in my career that wouldn’t have existed. For example, ‘Blank Space’ wouldn’t have existed if people hadn’t said, ‘Here’s a slideshow of all her boyfriends.'” And ‘Anti-Hero’ is still a song that I’m very proud of. For example, if people didn’t criticize every aspect of my personality that they have a problem with, the song wouldn’t exist. ”
