Eva Longoria and the team behind Amazon Prime Video’s “The House of the Spirits” will be among the notable multihyphenates, actors, writers and producers who will be attending the National Association of Latina Independent Producers’ Diverse Women in Media Forum on May 1 in Hollywood.

Longoria is co-founder and chief creative officer of Hyphenate Media Group and executive producer of “House of the Spirits,” which opens today. This is the first Spanish-language film adaptation of the popular 1982 novel by Isabel Allende.

“I am proud to join NALIP’s Diverse Women in Media Forum and support organizations that champion mentorship, access, and connection,” said Longoria. “Bringing this incredible book to life and honoring Isabel Allende by telling it in Spanish with a multinational Latinx cast and creator behind the camera is exactly why we are doing what we do at Hyphenate.”

This forum will showcase top creatives and provide discussion about storytelling opportunities. It will also offer sessions and networking on behind-the-scenes activities, from executive coaching to fundraising to technology that will fundamentally change the way movies and TV are produced.

“The Diverse Women in Media Forum is about access, opportunity and leadership,” Princess Diana said.
Mr. Luna, Executive Director of NALIP. “We bring together voices from across film, television and media.
