Brooks Nader has been ready to wear the iconic red “Baywatch” swimsuit since she was a toddler.
In a new interview with People, the model revealed that she’s been looking forward to her role in the show’s reboot, and that she’s been studying the trends of original Baywatch stars Carmen Electra and Pamela Anderson.
“I’ve been doing this since I was about 2 years old. I was ready. I was like, ‘I got it,'” the “Dancing with the Stars” alum told the outlet in an interview published Saturday.
“I’ve been watching Pam and Carmen Electra’s videos. I’m ready.”
The “Love Thy Nader” star, 29, also detailed an “out-of-body experience” when she first wore the red one-piece “Baywatch” swimsuit, noting that “even the wardrobe people” got emotional.
“They said, ‘This is so big and so exciting.’ And I feel like the energy from the cast, the crew, everyone involved is really great, and everyone is so excited to see it all come to life,” she told the outlet.
“I think everyone is going to love this show and everyone is working hard on it, so it’s very exciting.”
Nader, 29, also referenced the unmistakable slow-motion shot of a beach lifeguard running in slow motion in the series, joking that he “only runs in slow motion” now.
The upcoming Fox reboot series, which also stars Noah Beck and Libby Dunn, is scheduled to premiere in the 2026-27 season.
The production follows both the original series, which aired for 11 seasons starting in 1989, and the 2017 film version starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
All are slouched in ’90s-style red swimsuits, and even Anderson, who played beach glamor CJ Parker in the original series, is still wearing them decades later.
“I had several at the time. Now I only have one and it fits,” the now 58-year-old actress told Entertainment Tonight Canada in 2023, adding that she “wears them every once in a while.”
Meanwhile, Electra, who played Lani Mackenzie on the long-running series, once called her revealing looks “empowering.”
“I get so excited when I frame a suit and people come to my house,” the “Scary Movie” actress told The New York Times in 2019. “It just has this effect on people. It was empowering.”
