Maya Hawke’s Valentine’s Day wedding was a “very powerful” experience for her father, Ethan Hawke.
The actor reflected on the milestone moment for the first time while chatting exclusively with Page Six at the Time 100 Gala 2026 on Thursday.
“It’s going to be very difficult[not to get emotional],” the Oscar nominee, 55, said of the 27-year-old’s walk down the aisle in February.
“Every time I see the kids so happy, that’s probably the most touching thing,” said Ethan, who was traveling from Tulsa, Oklahoma, to film Season 2 of FX’s “The Lowdown.”
He exuded the joy of seeing his descendants “loving their lives, embracing their lives and finding great friends and partners.”
Boyhood star and Maya’s mother Uma Thurman is also the proud parent of son Levon, 24.
Ethan also has daughters Clementine, 17, and Indiana, 14, with Ryan Hawk.
In February, she was photographed escorting her eldest son to St. George’s Episcopal Church in New York City ahead of her wedding to husband Christian Lee Hutson.
Appropriate for the occasion, Ethan was all smiles as he clutched his bride’s bouquet.
Thurman, 55, was also spotted outside the church wearing a floral blue dress, like Maya’s Stranger Things co-stars.
The actress gushed about her marriage to Page Six the following month.
“Love is the best,” the “Happy” singer told Us in March. “I feel very lucky to have found my best friend and to have someone I can talk to about anything.”
She continued, “Things like marriage, you’re like, ‘Oh, of course.’ … I’ve been very, very, very lucky, so I’m really happy.”
Maya and Hutson, 35, were friends for years before their relationship took a romantic turn.
The two debuted their romance with “2023 PDA,” sparking engagement speculation two years later.
