Vanessa Trump wants to receive “private medical treatment” after her boyfriend Tiger Woods’ recent drunk-driving car crash.
“Tiger needed intensive care and his girlfriend Vanessa was in favor of that,” a source told People Sunday.
“She still stands behind this and supports him. She loves him and knows he needed some personal therapy,” the source continued, noting the couple’s “strong bond.”
She added: “Vanessa had some tough times, but she was always there for him, even when she was worried about him.”
Trump feels “positive” about Woods’ future, the source said, adding that “her optimistic outlook is good for him, even though she has a long way to go.”
Another source told the outlet that Trump and Woods “have been communicating in Trump’s absence and both recognize the importance of doing so.”
A representative for Woods did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment. Representatives for Mr. Trump could not be reached.
Earlier this month, sources told the outlet that President Trump was concerned about Woods’ “quality of life” as pain issues began to surface due to recent legal violations.
“People are quick to judge Tiger, but he’s been through a lot of pain and has had a condition for years that has negatively impacted his quality of life in addition to his ability to play golf,” a source told People on April 10.
“He is now fully committed to recovering, no matter how long it takes. His family is rooting for him. They support him.”
A source said that although President Trump (48) continues to face intense scrutiny from the public, he “loves Tiger and supports him.”
“No matter how busy she was with her kids and her own life, she was there for him,” the source said. “She loves him and cares about him. She wants him to feel good, play well and be happy.”
The model is determined to stand by the professional golfer, but was reportedly “not happy” when she learned of Woods’ arrest.
A source told the Daily Mail at the time that they believed this was a “clear red flag”.
“This was a clear red flag and she told him she was going to resolve this issue and that she would demand it,” the source said.
Page Six reported in March 2025 that the two were secretly dating.
“They have a lot in common. They’re both used to the public eye. They know how to keep their personal lives private. They’re both parents,” a source told Us, noting that the two are “heading in a[serious]direction.”
Things seemed to be going smoothly for the couple until last month, when Woods was arrested and charged with drunk driving after a rollover car accident on Jupiter Island, Florida.
At the scene, he was caught with pills in his pocket and failed several breathalyzer tests.
The athlete, who has a long history of car accidents, appeared in court on March 31 and pleaded not guilty.
He later issued a statement via social media regarding the “seriousness of the situation” and announced that he would be “stepping back” from golf to “seek treatment.”
