Ice Spice was slapped in the face by a customer at a McDonald’s in Los Angeles.
On Wednesday morning, a woman trotted up to the table where the “Princess Diana” rapper and her friend were sitting for a meal, as seen in video footage obtained by TMZ.
The women tried to strike up a conversation by repeatedly asking Ice Spice where they were from, but the women weren’t interested. At one point, the “Deli” hitmaker pointed at the door, seemingly telling the stranger to leave.
The woman then slapped Ice Spice in the face and a fight broke out between the two.
Other customers also tried to drag the woman away after the rapper fought back and climbed onto a table to protect himself.
The woman had a brief scuffle with Ice Spice, at one point pushing the “Munch” rapper’s friend to the ground and eventually being dragged out of the McDonald’s.
Ice Spice (real name: Isis Gaston) and her friends are reunited, but apparently unharmed.
In another video taken outside a McDonald’s, Ice Spice is seen smashing the cell phone of someone he was with when he found it on the ground.
The scuffle continued in the parking lot, where Ice Spice got into a shouting match with a group of men believed to be related to the alleged attacker.
In the final footage, taken as the two were crossing the road, the woman throws more punches at Ice Spice, and another fight ensues before the footage ends.
“The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department, and we will take every step, criminal and civil, to hold the perpetrators accountable for their actions,” Ice Spice’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, said in a statement.
“We are also looking at holding locations accountable for their lack of adequate security.”
TMZ later spoke to the woman who was seen punching Ice Spice in the video, also known as Vaya. She claimed that she first reached out to the rapper and his friend to get a “compliment.”
Vaya claimed that Ice Spice’s reaction to her was “rude” and that she was immediately asked to leave the table by the singer.
She claimed that Ice Spice called her a “bitch,” which led to the slap.
“She was being rude and disrespectful. That’s why we fought,” she continued.
