Spoiler alert: This contains major spoilers for the final episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
Long live Mikey Meeks!
The Queen was crowned America’s Next Drag Superstar on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” Meeks took the title from Darlene Mitchell and Nini Coco.
Taking the crown from her fellow queens, Meeks said, “This is to my friends, my family, and everyone in Orlando: Live fiercely, love boldly, and write it in the books, baby, Meeks will inherit the crown!”
In this episode, judge Michelle Visage welcomed the Season 18 queens back to the main stage. DD Fuego, Mandy Mango, Briar Blush, Ciara Mist, Vita Fontesse Starr, Mia Starr, Athena Dion, Kenya Pleaser, Discord Addams, Jane Don’t and Juicy Love Dion all made their final appearances as eliminated queens this season.
Finalists Darlene Mitchell, Mike Meeks and Nini Coco were welcomed back for the final Lou Stravaganza. Mitchell finished second.
Jane Dont has been crowned this season’s Miss Congeniality. Asked what she had to say, Dont said, “I don’t want the women in my family to be nice in general, but one of the greatest gifts this whole experience has given me is the relationships I have with them.” She went on to say, “You’re the grand prize.”
Host RuPaul also treated the audience to a performance of his 2022 song “Mother of the House,” reminding everyone who’s in charge.

Meeks finished last in the Rate a Queen Challenge, but bounced back and won the Political Advertising Challenge, the Makeover Challenge, the Improv Challenge, and the final Hosting Challenge. Meeks won three of the four challenges in a row, earning the title of Comeback Queen and making Drag Race history.
During the season’s Snatch Game challenge, Meeks performed a top-notch impersonation of Drew Barrymore. After that episode, Barrymore invited Meeks to appear on his show. In true Meeks style, she showed up dressed as Barrymore. “It’s very accurate,” Barrymore told Meeks.
Meeks is now “America’s Next Drag Superstar” and joins past winners in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. She also took home $200,000 in prize money.
Miley Cyrus was presented with a lifetime award. Upon accepting the award, Cyrus joked, “This makes the Grammys look cheap.”
