Maura Higgins puts the real thing down to earth.
The “Traitors” star opened up to Allure about her beauty routine and the surgeries she has and hasn’t had.
Higgins admits her current look is a stark contrast to her Love Island debut in 2019, but says she has yet to go under the knife.
“I keep seeing these videos coming up on TikTok and I thought, yeah, she definitely had cheek fillers. I’ve read so many articles that I’ve had cheek fillers…I’ve never had cheek fillers in my life,” Higgins said.
She also slammed speculation about her surgery, saying, “I’ve been told that I’ve had blepharoplasty surgery, but I don’t know how that surgery is done.”
The 35-year-old previously had lip fillers, but admitted she hasn’t had them in “years” and regularly gets Botox.
She also added that she straightened her smile with Invisalign and added bonding to her teeth. “Obviously my face will change a lot,” he added.
Higgins continued, “I’ve definitely lost weight since ‘Love Island,’ and I think makeup can really change a person if you know how to apply it to your face.”
The Irish star appears to be unhappy with the speculation, but vowed that if he did get his hands on the knife, he wouldn’t keep it a secret. “There’s even an article saying, ‘Maura says she doesn’t need to do anything.’ They can almost tell when I’m lying,” she says. “I’m like, guys, you guys just don’t understand. I’d be really honest.”
“Once I go and get the job done, I’ll be open about it,” she promises. “If it gives me more confidence and I want to accomplish something, I’ll go and do it.”
Plus, she already has a doctor. “When you need a facelift, believe me you can get a facelift. I want to go to Kris Jenner because that was amazing.”
