“Grey’s Anatomy” has appeared on Nielsen’s weekly streaming rankings 320 times, more than any other series in the chart’s history.
ABC’s long-running medical drama continues to break the record previously held by “NCIS,” which remained at No. 2 after 299 weeks on the chart. Of the 320 weeks “Grey’s Anatomy” has achieved, 22 have been at No. 1 on the Earned Titles chart, which ranks streaming viewership for series that have previously aired elsewhere. The series has been the top-earning title over the past three viewing periods as measured by Nielsen from March 2 to March 16. It also frequently ranks in the top 10 of all streams with a total of 192 appearances. This is the second highest number of all-time after “NCIS.”
“Grey’s Anatomy”’s heavy presence in the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 is especially evident when looking at the measurement company’s annual data report. In 2024 and 2025, it was the second most streamed title overall behind the animated preschool series Bluey, with more than 40 billion minutes watched in both years. In 2023, it was the fourth most streamed series with 38.6 billion minutes.
Every episode of Grey’s Anatomy is streaming on Hulu, and new episodes of the currently airing Season 22 will be available the day after they air on ABC. Nielsen’s total combines Hulu’s “Grey’s Anatomy” viewership with Netflix, which hosts the first 21 seasons.
