Erika Eleniak is making headlines.
The actress covered up her colorful sleeve tattoo to reprise her role as Shaunie McClain in Fox’s Baywatch reboot.
Eleniak, 56, was seen on set Thursday wearing a dark green tank top, a cropped white linen shirt and slacks.
Her hands and arms were clearly bare, rocking ’90s icons, her nails unpainted, and only a dainty gold bracelet on her left wrist.
Gone were the elaborate tattoos that completely covered Eleniak’s arms.
The paintings on one arm include what appears to be a skull wearing a crown of thorns, a spider’s web, a wolf, and an eagle wearing a witch’s hat.
Her other arm is decorated with monarch butterflies, flowers, and other whimsical creations.
But to play Shoni, she had to have her tattoos removed.
Eleniak starred as a girl-next-door lifeguard in the first two seasons of Baywatch from 1989 to 1992.
She left the hit show, which ran for 11 seasons, at the start of Season 3.
The original series starred David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, Jason Momoa, David Charvet, Nicole Eggert, and more.
As Baywatch celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2019, Eleniak revealed that she was leaving the series to focus on her film career.
She explained to the Mercury News at the time: “It was kind of a good time to go because my swan song was the introduction of Pamela Anderson’s character, CJ Parker. So they hit the lottery.”
In recent years, Eleniak has largely taken a break from acting, but has made an exceptional return to the sand.
Eleniak currently lives in Canada with her husband Roch Daigle and daughter Indianna, 20, and Deadline reports that Eleniak will guest star in the sequel series and Shoni currently works as a Santa Monica City Council member.
Shoni returns to the beach to help Hobie (now played by Stephen Amell) start the annual “Beach Games”. In this game, the reigning Baywatch champions face off against the Coast Guard.
Eleniak isn’t the only familiar face returning to the beach.
David Chokachi will also reprise his role as Cody Madison.
The upcoming revival is set to premiere on Fox as part of the 2026-2027 season, with new staff members including Brooks Nader, Shay Mitchell, Noah Beck and Libby Dunn.
Last month, sources revealed to Page Six that Nader, 29, was preparing to don the iconic red dress.
“She has been undergoing religious training for the past few weeks,” the source revealed.
The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model has been doing strength training with a personal trainer, and the source added that Nader is “very excited about the next step in her career.”
