Jennifer Lopez made her debut at Coachella in an unexpected way. The “On the Floor” singer joined David Guetta’s set on Saturday, April 12, and provided vocals for his new song “Save Me Tonight.” This was her first time on stage as a performer, and also the first time she sang this song live.
For the special moment, Lopez wore a silver plunging high-cut catsuit covered in glittering rhinestones. She accessorized her look with matching thigh-high boots, a Julien MacDonald hooded green feather bolero, and aviator glasses.
“I’ve invited my friends!…make some noise for Jennifer Lopez!” Guetta told the crowd just before taking the stage. After giving a rousing performance of the song, the Kiss of the Spider-Woman actress hugged Guetta and headed backstage to take photos with her backup dancers.
The performance comes after Lopez just wrapped up her Las Vegas residency “Up All Night Live” at the Coliseum at Caesars Palace on March 28th. “Save Me Tonight” was released on March 6th and is the first song she has released since 2025’s Kiss of the Spider-Woman soundtrack.
Although Lopez was only a guest performer at Coachella this year, she thoroughly documented her experience, sharing photos and videos of herself on her way to the festival.
The singer reflected on the experience in the caption of an Instagram reel featuring several clips of her Coachella performance. “What a great day!! Performing ‘Save Me Tonight’ with David for the first time at MY FIRST COACHELLA was so special,” she wrote. “My happy times are rewriting everything. Never stop surprising yourself.”
