Dave Portnoy claimed he had known about Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s secret romance from Brianna “Chicken Fry” LaPaglia since February’s Super Bowl.
“Yawn. Chicken fries at the Super Bowl taught us this. Old news,” the owner of Barstool Sports tweeted on Tuesday.
Wilson was spotted with ex Ciara Miller at the 2026 Super Bowl, sparking speculation that they might be rekindling their romance in 2023.
A TikTok shared by a friend showed the “Summer House” costars watching a game next to each other at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
A year ago, Wilson sparked dating rumors with LaPaglia, 26, when they hung out in New Orleans during the 2025 Super Bowl weekend.
“I think we became good friends last night,” Ms Wilson told journalist Adam Glynn at the time. “So, yeah, cool. Good.”
However, over the same weekend, Wilson revealed to Page Six that she is no longer dating LaPaglia.
“Guys, we’re not dating. … Dating is a weird word,” the Bravo star said.
On Tuesday, Wilson and Batula, 34, acknowledged speculation about their relationship in a joint statement on Instagram.
Batula, who split from husband Kyle Cook in January after four years of marriage, is close friends with Miller.
“While this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity as we have seen speculation online increase,” Batula and Wilson began their statement.
They continued, “We had no intention of intentionally hiding anything. Given the complex relationship dynamics and intense scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed some space to process things privately before talking about it.”
He also said that “neither of us expected” their relationship to develop from “long-time friendship” to romance.
“We also recognize that this has an impact beyond just us, and we never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless,” their statement added.
Following Batula and Wilson’s confession, a source told Page Six that the two are in a “full-fledged relationship.”
The source also said the rest of the “Summer House” cast, including Cooke and Miller, are “upset” and “disappointed.”
Rumors of a romance between Batula and Wilson began swirling on March 5, when a source told Dumois that the two were seen “openly cheating and reportedly holding hands under the table” at an event in New York City.
The topic came up during Wilson’s March 24 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, where he couldn’t completely deny the rumors.
“We’re just hanging out in New York. She’s single. I have to show her around the city, you know?” he said.
Wilson added: “Even if it’s not clear, she’s a very important person to me and I care about her very much.”
