Teyana Taylor saved her best look for last.
The 35-year-old multi-hyphenate hit the 2026 Oscars red carpet wearing a pearl-and-crystal embroidered sheer panel dress by Chanel that showed off her impressive abs.
The black and white spaghetti strap design was adorned with feathers from the waist down and ended in a dramatic train (which held its shape even without my adorable daughter in tow).
Taylor paired her short, soft wavy hair with artful Chanel cat eyeliner and glossy lips.
She completed her look with Tiffany’s stunning Celeste Shooting Star necklace featuring more than 990 diamonds totaling approximately 89 carats, platinum and diamond earrings, and two diamond rings, also from Tiffany.
Tonight’s ceremony marks Taylor’s first Oscar appearance, with the One Battle After Another star receiving a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role as Perfidia in Paul Thomas Anderson’s political thriller, which received 13 nominations.
Her biggest fans will be in the room. Taylor told Stephen Colbert last month that she bought tickets for both her mother and grandmother because they both wanted to be her plus-ones. “I didn’t want to be in that kind of smoke,” she said on “The Late Show.”
The Harlem-born actress and singer had a highly anticipated awards season in January, when she won her first Golden Globe in a custom Schiaparelli dress with a crystal-encrusted thong.
“The cracks are covered in diamonds,” she told E! on the carpet.
Since then, she’s continued her momentum, wearing a bespoke plum Burberry trenchcoat gown to the BAFTAs in February and a Thom Browne trompe l’oeil Naked dress to the Actor’s Awards earlier this month, where her daughter Lou Rose Shumpert, 5, stole the show as she pinned the train on the carpet.
Taylor, who choreographed Beyoncé’s “Ring the Alarm” music video at just 15 years old, is also developing her directorial debut, “Get Right,” at Paramount, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album for her fourth studio record, “Escape Room.”
