The 23-year-old passed away on Wednesday, her family said in a statement via Instagram.
“With deep sadness, we announce the death of our warrior,” her loved ones wrote. “She was a warrior, a smart person, and someone who never gave up no matter what the odds.”
They added: “Sadly, she passed away to be with the Lord on March 11, 2026. We ask for your compassion, empathy and love for her family and friends.
“Thank you for loving her, supporting her, showing her so much love, and always welcoming her with open arms,” the statement concluded.
The next day, Reyes’ loved ones announced that a wake would be held in her honor in Cali, Colombia, on Thursday.
Reyes’ last upload documented a trip to Brazil in February.
According to the Daily Mail, she revealed to her hundreds of thousands of followers in October 2025 that she had visited a hospital for tests due to a health issue.
Reyes shared her cancer diagnosis on social media the following month.
She continued to document her chemotherapy treatments.
The content creator hinted at her health struggles in a long caption that looked back to December 2025.
During that period, Reyes said, it was the time when he “cried the most” and “suffered the most,” but it was also the time when he “learned the most.”
She writes:
“This year has taught me how strong I can be, even when I feel like I can’t keep going,” Reyes continued. “And now, as I say goodbye to this year, I’m not just closing a chapter; I’m closing a chapter of myself.”
She concluded, “Even if it hurts, I’m ready to never give up again. 🙏🏽🤍💫.”
