This lifeguard tower is getting crowded. Social media star, gymnast and now actress Livy Dunn will join the growing cast of Fox’s “Baywatch” reboot, the network announced Thursday.
Dunn is set to reprise her role as Grace, a “very enthusiastic junior lifeguard.” She joins a cast that includes Stephen Amell, Shay Mitchell, Jessica Belkin, Hussie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone, Brooks Nader, Noah Beck, Shay Mitchell, and David Chokachi.
A former LSU gymnast, Dunn became the highest-paid female college athlete and eventually a social media star, boasting more than 15 million followers across platforms. Dan has appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue and is active in fashion and media.

Hobie’s world is forever changed when his unknown daughter, Charlie, shows up on his doorstep, eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy and join her father as a Baywatch lifeguard. OG heartthrob Cody Madison is now the captain of Baywatch. He runs Shoreline. Unofficially, he works at Baywatch’s official bar and grill and still wears red trunks on his occasional lifesaving shift, providing a second home to his fellow lifeguards and a friend and mentor who always gives them free wings after the big save.
In September 2025, Fox decided to order 12 episodes of Baywatch for the 2026-2027 broadcast season. Matt Nix will serve as showrunner and executive producer of the reboot alongside McG, Michael Burke, Greg Bonnan, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto, and Mike Horowitz. McG will also direct the series premiere episode.
The series is co-produced by Fox Entertainment and Fremantle. Fox Entertainment Global will retain domestic distribution rights, while Fremantle will manage international sales.
