Zendaya appeared to confirm that Tom Holland is already married during a big moment at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards.
The “Euphoria” star, 29, attended Thursday’s awards ceremony and was a good sport when she was playfully forced to sit on the spot by host Marsai Martin.
In a video obtained by People, the “Black-ish” star says on stage that Zendaya “doesn’t joke about her personal life” and asks her to “just give her a nod or a sign” when sending her a wedding gift — an apparent reference to rumors that she and Holland have secretly gotten married.
Zendaya responded by lovingly flashing her hands around her face and showing off what appeared to be a gold wedding ring as the crowd cheered and clapped.
When Marsai kept joking that she was going to give Zendaya a “T and Z Forever” monogrammed towel as a wedding gift, she happily laughed.
A source told People magazine that they overheard Zendaya receiving kind words from other attendees at the event.
Page Six reached out to representatives for Zendaya and Holland, but did not immediately receive a response.
Zendaya and Holland, 29, reportedly got engaged during the 2024 holiday, and Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach claimed they were already married during a red carpet interview at the 2026 SAG Actors Awards earlier this month.
When asked about the wedding, he told Access Hollywood, “The wedding has already taken place.” “You missed it.”
Rumors had already been circulating last month that Zendaya and Holland were secretly wed after Zendaya was spotted wearing a gold band on her left ring finger instead of a 5-carat diamond sparkler.
In a photo obtained by Page Six on February 20, the Dune star was seen wearing a gold band while out and about in Beverly Hills, California with film producer Josh Lieberman.
Since then, she has continued to wear the gold band in public appearances, including Tuesday’s Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week and a photo shoot with her “The Drama” co-star Robert Pattinson.
Last week, Zendaya and Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day co-star Liza Colon-Zayas further fueled speculation that the two were getting married with a sharp message on social media.
Colon-Zayas reposted an article about the couple’s wedding on her Instagram Stories, adding an emoji of hands forming a heart shape and tagging both Zendaya and Holland.
