Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton’s blossoming romance has been described as “finishing” by a source close to the couple.
Explaining how their relationship is different, a source told Us Weekly Monday, “Their relationship started out as a friendship, and those closest to them believe this could be the final moment for them.”
The SKIMS founder and Hamilton have been photographed together at multiple industry events since at least 2014, but things appear to have taken a romantic turn earlier this year.
“No matter how long the distance is or how busy they are, they’re both very keen to make things work,” the source added, adding that Hamilton FaceTims with Kardashian “regularly from the paddock.”
Kardashian, 45, has been described as “incredibly supportive” of Hamilton’s “demanding F1 schedule”. The 41-year-old British racing driver is currently in Australia following the start of the new F1 season on March 6th.
As for how their relationship is currently going, a source said, “They are doing well and are really happy.
“Lewis is in a sane state and those closest to him believe he has finally met his opponent,” they added. “He has been waiting for the girlfriend of his dreams for over 10 years and is obsessed with her.”
However, the source stressed that they are still taking it “slowly” despite traveling together multiple times in the past few months.
“It’s going well. Kim is really enjoying her time with Louis,” she added, noting that Hamilton is “open to” the idea but has yet to meet the Kardashian children.
The “All’s Fair” star shares children North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 6, with ex-husband Kanye West.
“Lewis is such a great guy and really courted her and treated her well. He planned everything and made sure she was taken care of,” the source further added.
“Everyone around her thinks it’s really nice and that she deserves it. Kim has a very relaxed aura about all aspects of her life these days. Her mindset has completely changed. She’s not forcing anything. It’s just unfolding naturally.”
On February 1, it was revealed that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and Hamilton had been secretly dating after years of friendship.
Since then, the pair have flown to the Cotswolds, dined together in Paris and vacationed in Arizona. He then made his first public appearance at Super Bowl 2026 in February.
A source recently told Page Six that the “power couple” were “in the same circle” before their platonic relationship turned romantic.
“(Hamilton) is one of the sweetest guys around,” the source said. “She is a very kind, open-minded and sincere person.”
Kardashian ended her marriage to Kanye West in 2022, but was romantically linked to Pete Davidson and Odell Beckham Jr.
As for Hamilton, his A-list of dates includes Nicole Scherzinger and Sofia Vergara.
