Jalen Brunson made Thursday’s New York Knicks parade a family event, attending with his wife and daughter.
The 29-year-old NBA star was seen carrying his 1-year-old daughter Jordyn as he walked alongside his wife, Dr. Allison “Ali” Marks Brunson, and other teammates.
For the occasion, Jalen wore a black Siegelman Stable x Knicks hat and orange shades to complement his casual outfit consisting of a white T-shirt and black shorts.
The toddler proudly represented his dad in a tank top that read, “New York, my dad is the MVP Hallelujah” and a blue velvet Super Smalls Knicks headband.
Ali wore a white tank top with her star husband’s jersey number on it and jeans. She paired the look with little black sunglasses and braids.
Footage obtained by the newspaper showed Brunson walking through the crowd shouting “MVP!”
In addition to celebrating with his family, Jalen was seen participating in a parade with several A-list stars, including Martha Stewart.
Other celebrities in attendance included Timothée Chalamet, Tracy Morgan, Mariska Hargitay and Ben Stiller.
Ali and his daughter have always shown support for Jalen throughout his NBA career. Most recently, he was seen leading his team to victory in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on June 13th at Frostbank Center in San Antonio, Texas.
The point guard set a franchise finals scoring record with 45 points (29 of which came after halftime) in this exciting game.
It was the Knicks’ first win in 53 years.
Jalen and Ali, 30, first met while attending Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
After supporting each other throughout their careers, Jaylen proposed to his high school sweetheart in 2022 at their high school gymnasium.
The couple tied the knot at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Chicago in 2023, and gave birth to their daughter a year later.
