Yesterday, Selena Gomez celebrated Benny Blanco’s 38th birthday with more than just an Instagram tribute. The actress posted a series of Instagram Stories giving an inside look at her husband’s Western-themed party. “Happy birthday, Cowboy,” she captioned the first shot, soundtracked by the song “Cowboy” from her 2025 album I Said I Love You First.
Gomez appeared in the photo wearing a black top, Daisy Dukes, and tall black studded cowboy boots. She shared a selfie of herself with a swing wearing a jean jacket with floral embellishments. They also shared a kiss on the dance floor.
Earlier in the day, Gomez posted a series of wedding photos and candid photos in honor of her husband’s birthday. “Happy Birthday my love 🥳♥️ I love you with all my heart,” she captioned the post.
Blanco commented, “This is the best birthday present ever.”
Ahead of last week’s party, Gomez and Blanco opened up more about their wedding when they were guests on the podcast Friends Keep Secrets, which Gomez co-hosts.
Gomez called their wedding one of the best days of her life, while Blanco recalled their vows to co-host and host Lil Dicky, saying, “It was so crazy, because I was listening, but we also felt like it was our time. We laughed, we cried, we talked, just like me…”
Gomez interjected: “I remember looking at no one but you the whole time, and I just kept saying, ‘Okay, I got this.'” I don’t remember a single word that was said other than Dave’s (Lil Dicky’s real name) speech. ”
Overall, she said of the ceremony: “I feel so blessed to be able to have the ceremony the way I wanted. We were so cooped up. And we were united, but it was really — all I could do was look at him and I remember thinking, ‘This is crazy that we’re doing this.'” It was fun. ”
“It was the best moment of my life,” Blanco added.
