Duchess Meghan posted a tribute to her daughter Lilibet on Instagram on International Women’s Day.
The As Ever founders shared a photo of themselves enjoying a day at the beach, giving a rare perspective on their relationship.
Meghan gave fans another glimpse of Lilibet on Valentine’s Day just last month.
On Sunday, March 9, Meghan Markle shared an intimate mother-daughter photo on Instagram to honor Lilibet’s International Women’s Day.
In the image, Duchess Meghan and her four-year-old son were seen sitting on a rock on the beach. Meghan hugged Lilibet and kissed her forehead as she looked out over the water.
“To this woman, one day she will…Happy International Women’s Day,” she captioned the photo, noting that the photo was taken by Prince Harry (‘Daddy Sussex’).
The new photo of Lilibet comes weeks after Meghan Markle posted a photo of Prince Harry with Lilibet in his arms on Valentine’s Day. In the shot, Lilibet was holding some red balloons in her hands, giving fans a rare glimpse of her face. (Meghan and Harry have mostly hidden the faces of Lilybet and their eldest son Archie in photos to protect their privacy.)
“These two + Archie = my forever Valentine,” she captioned the post.
In addition to International Women’s Day and Valentine’s Day, Meghan previously celebrated Lilibet on International Day of the Girlfriend in October. On the occasion, the As Ever brand founder shared a clip of Lilibet running in the grass and a photo of the two enjoying time outdoors.
The duchess wrote under the post: “To all the girls, this world is yours. Do everything you can to protect your rights, speak up and support each other. We do the same for you. It’s your right and it’s our responsibility. Let’s go get the girls! 🏃♀️ Happy International Day of the Girl.”
That same month, Meghan made rare comments about Lilibet and Archie while accepting the Humanitarian of the Year award at the 2025 World Mental Health Day Gala hosted by Project Healthy Minds. In her speech, she reflected on how one day she felt anxious about her children using social media.
“Our children, Archie and Lili, are only six and four years old,” she said. “Can you believe it? Luckily, I’m too young for social media.”
“But we know that day will come, and like many parents, we are constantly thinking about how to harness the benefits of technology while protecting against its dangers. And that hopeful separation intention is rapidly becoming impossible.”
Meghan recently shared a glimpse into her children’s lives, saying in a speech that she remains focused on “building a safer digital world for all children.”
