In a shocking incident, influencer Nancy Grewal was stabbed to death in Canada.
According to a press release from the LaSalle Police Department in Ontario, emergency services responded to a report of a stabbing just before 9:30 p.m. on March 3.
The victim, later identified as Grewal, was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The stabbing incident is currently under investigation.
Guruwal was 45 years old.
Grewal’s sister Alishaa Grewal shared a tribute to the content creator on Instagram.
“It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the passing of my beloved sister Nancy Grewal on March 3, 2026,” Alisha wrote, along with a photo of Nancy wearing angel wings. “I lost my sister, my strength, and a forever friend.”
“Rest in peace, sister,” she continued. “You will always live in our hearts. 🤍🕊️”
Alisha told CityNews Toronto she believes her sister’s murder was “pre-planned.”
“The reason is obviously social media videos,” she says. “I think this is revenge… She spoke out many times about people not doing the right thing.”
“Maybe this is the reason for her murder,” she continued, noting that her sister calls people names in the video.
LaSalle police told the Windsor Star that investigators believe the murder is an “isolated incident.”
Nancy was known for posting lifestyle content as well as giving her views on Indian and Canadian politics.
She had over 13,000 followers on Instagram and over 9,000 followers on YouTube.
Her last Instagram post was on February 26th.
