Jimmy Kimmel went after Donald Trump on Monday for his scathing review of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show.
“Unfortunately, Bad Bunny received a bad review from our country’s bad president,” Kimmel said Monday on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “He wrote: ‘The Super Bowl halftime show is absolutely awful, one of the worst in history. It makes no sense. It is an insult to American greatness and does not represent our standards of success, creativity and excellence. No one can understand a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young kids watching from all over America and the world.”This is a guy who made amends with a porn star who got his face slapped in the face.”
Kimmel then went after Turning Point USA’s rival show, “The All-American Halftime Show.” The late-night host joked that TPUSA “should have done Kristi Noem Shoot Her Puppy Bowl, because that wasn’t a good show.”
“[Conservatives]complain about how bad everything is and then make it even worse,” Kimmel added. “And not only do they make it worse, they do it quickly. Of course, the guys at Fox News thought it was great, but the guys at Turning Point seemed happy with it, too.”
The show then cut to a TPUSA representative telling Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade that TPUSA plans to “do another halftime show for this country next year.”
“Next year we’ll be in a Lara Trump and Ted Nguyen cover band,” Kimmel joked. “They have to do it for their country.”
