Chris Brown wasn’t a fan of Big Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime performance.
“I think it’s safe to say…they need me,” Brown wrote on her Instagram Story, along with a winking face emoji.
The post came minutes after Bad Bunny delivered an emotional performance during the prestigious halftime show celebrating his native Puerto Rico.
The rapper, who performed entirely in Spanish, wowed the crowd with songs like “Monaco,” “Yo Pereo Sola” and “Tity Me Pregunto,” as celebrities including Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, Alix Earle, Jessica Alba and Karol G danced around him.
The performance celebrated many aspects of Puerto Rican culture, including food, games, and dance.
Lady Gaga performed a surprise performance of Bruno Mars’ ballad “Die With a Smile,” and Puerto Rican-born Ricky Martin sang “Lo Que Paso a Hawaii.”
Fellow Puerto Rican Ricky Martin also wowed the audience with his rendition of “Lo Que Paso a Hawaii.”
The Grammy Award winner’s Super Bowl appearance infuriated some NFL fans who were offended by the Spanish-language performers.
He has also been critical of the Trump administration and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

In 2009, the “Kiss Kiss” singer famously pleaded guilty to felony assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
He was sentenced to five years’ probation and six months of community service.

Brown allegedly became aggressive towards the Crows alumnus after he did not return money or gifts given to her during their relationship.
Last year, the “No Guidance” singer was arrested in Manchester, England, for allegedly hitting music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle at a London nightclub in 2023.
In October 2023, Diaw filed a lawsuit accusing Brown of assaulting her eight months earlier.
The producer claimed that Brown “caused severe and permanent injury” after “hitting him over the head” with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 at the Tape London nightclub in February 2023.
