Dave Coulier is in remission.
The “Full House” alum shared a health update on “Good Morning America” Wednesday, revealing that she has been cured after a “roller coaster ride” of “two different cancers in two years.”
“What a journey it’s been,” said the actor, who was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and tongue cancer in quick succession.
But despite the “good news,” the 66-year-old said, “I feel like cancer is always in the rearview mirror behind me.”
Courier announced his lymphoma diagnosis in November 2024, announced he was cancer-free in March of the following year, and withdrew his diagnosis of P16 squamous cell carcinoma nine months later.
The “Fuller House” alum “went through the ordeal laughing,” she told Robin Roberts on Wednesday.
He said that by “keeping my loved ones close,” he was able to avoid having cancer “take away the psychological and emotional parts” of him.
During the interview, he gave a shoutout to former co-star John Stamos and his wife Melissa Bring for support.
The couple married in July 2014.
Bring, 42, opened up about her partner’s “positive attitude” in an interview in January 2025.
“It takes that to really fight,” she told ABC WXYZ Detroit at the time, acknowledging that “he has some really tough days.”
The photographer noted that Courier was fighting an illness to “pay homage” to his late family.
“He experienced a lot of loss in his life having to fight cancer. He lost his mother, his sister, his niece. His other sister also had the same disease,” Bring explained. “He really draws strength from (them).”
Before his relationship with Bling began in 2005, Courier was married to actress Jane Modian and dated singer Alanis Morissette.
During their time together, he and his ex-wife welcomed a son, Luc, who is now 35 years old.
