Young adult romance “Finding Her Edge” has been renewed for season 2 on Netfilx.

The series is based on the 2022 novel of the same name by Jennifer Iacopelli. According to the official logline, the film “depicts the Russo sisters, the heirs of a struggling figure skating dynasty. As the middle sister, 17-year-old Adriana (Madeleine Keyes) trains with her new partner Brayden (Kail Ambrosic) for the World Championships, even as she harbors feelings for her first love and ex-partner Freddie (Ollie Atkins). Her life becomes complicated when she and Brayden land on the ice pretending to be a couple.”The cast also includes Harmon Walsh, Alexandra Beaton, Meredith Forlenza, Alice Malakhov, Nico Ceci, and Millie Davis.

Season 1 premiered on January 22nd and has since reached over 12 million views. Jen Klonsky, president and publisher of Putnam Books for Young Readers, said in a statement that the December 2025 paperback edition of “Finding Her Edge,” featuring Netflix Burst, sold 500% more than the original hardcover in just eight weeks.

Jeff Norton is the showrunner, Shelley Scarrow is the head writer, and Sabrina Sherif and Jacqueline Peppard are also writing the series. Pepal and Shamim Salih will serve as directors. Executive producers include WildBrain’s Norton, Stephanie Betts and Angela Boudreau.

“I set out to create a show about love and to feature characters who navigate particularly difficult paths in life and sports,” Norton said in a statement. “It’s truly a gift to be able to work with such a talented cast and expand on our characters’ journeys in Season 2 with the support of Netflix and WildBrain. We’re sure our fans will love it as we delve deeper into the two love triangles that underpin our show: one romantic and one familial. There’s plenty of drama both on and off the ice.”

“We are very pleased with the response to ‘Finding Her Edge’ from audiences around the world,” said director Iacopelli. “It’s been a dream come true to see my books come to life and the world fall in love with my characters, and now that dream continues with Season 2! I can’t wait for viewers to see what’s in store for Adrianna, Brayden, Freddy, and the rest of Team Russo!”
