Bachelor in Paradise alum Hakeem Moulton has revealed he has big plans for his girlfriend Monica this year.
During an appearance on the Bachelor Happy Hour Golden Hour podcast on Thursday, January 29, Moulton teased that he was in the preliminary stages of planning his proposal to his girlfriend Monica.
“I definitely want to marry her and I’m going to propose,” he revealed to hosts Susan Knowles and Kathy Swartz, leading them to speculate that he may be preparing to pop the question within the first six months of 2026.
“…I know her ring size,” the Chicago-based Bachelorette alum teased. “I have it in my phone.”

Moulton co-starred with Jen Tran on season 21 of The Bachelorette and also appeared on season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise.
According to Bachelor Nation, he began his new relationship with Monica in December 2025, posting a series of photos on Instagram of himself hanging out with ex-Bachelor Grant Ellis and several friends, including one shot of him receiving a kiss on the cheek from Monica.
The pair also posed for a selfie, with Moulton captioning the post: “Celebrating a friend’s victory is a joy in itself.”
Elsewhere on Prime Hour, Moulton revealed how he met Monica on a dating app years ago, but the two rekindled their relationship years later.
“…Every moment I’m with her…it means so much to me, right? Because that time I’m spending with her, spending time, having quality time…it means so much to me,” Moulton exclaimed, explaining what he took away from the time he spent on various dating reality shows.
“Also, the effort behind things means a lot to me,” he continued. “So if you’re about to get into a relationship and you’re acting half-hearted or you’re too scared to show your cards…that’s the problem. It’s not going to get you anywhere.”
“So, coming in guns blazing, that’s my type of love,” Moulton added. “I’m looking for the right person. I want to get married.”

Although Moulton has kept details about his relationship with Monica private until now, the couple posted several social media posts sharing glimpses of their romance.
A Jan. 10 video showed the Bachelor in Paradise alum cheering on the Chicago Bears during a game against the Green Bay Packers, and Moulton couldn’t hide his excitement.
“POV: Watching the second half of the Bears vs. Packers game with friends 😂😂,” Monica captioned the clip, which showed Moulton in full Bears regalia standing in front of a TV, screaming and cheering.

Another sweet video, set to Fleetwood Mac’s “Silver Springs” and Billy Joel’s “Piano Man,” featured a collection of clips of Moulton from various Bachelor series and some commentary about how it led him to find love in an unexpected way.
“When you’re in your 20s, you take risks for love,” he wrote in the video. “You’ll have to face your fears. Sometimes things don’t work out the way you expected.”
“…It’s important not to let fear make you smaller, but to be braver. There are bigger moments in life waiting for you. You will learn that you don’t have to change who you are. The right person will love everything about you,” he continued, before a video of him and his girlfriend sitting side by side on a couch and fooling around together began to play. “I found her!”
“I love you so much 🩷,” she commented under the heartfelt clip.
