Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have confirmed in a joint interview that they are already talking about having a second child, welcoming daughter Scottie in December.
Davidson hinted to Us Weekly that he was also thinking about marriage, saying, “Yeah, I’ll do all that stuff.”
Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt became parents a month ago, but in a joint interview with Us Weekly, the couple admitted they’re already planning a second child. Davidson also asked if the two would “get married or have enough kids to make a soccer team.”
The comedian replied, “Yeah, I do all those things.”
The couple detailed how surprised they were by their eagerness to give their daughter Scottie Rose a younger brother or sister.
“I didn’t realize I was already thinking about having another one,” Hewitt said. “Now that I think about it, that idea seems completely crazy. The process of giving birth is so crazy, but when you actually give birth, it’s so empowering. I can’t really explain how amazing it is, just this little thing that happened.”
He added, “The idea of creating another one and having a sibling was something I was already thinking, ‘I want to do it again.'” They are very small when they emerge, but they grow quickly. It’s crazy. ”
“Obviously, I think we’re talking about next steps and things like that,” Davidson began, noting that they are still focused on the present. “But right now, we’re like, let’s get out of the routine with this baby.” She added, “The first three months of the baby’s life, we’re just trying to keep it alive. We’re already like, ‘We’re going to have another one.'”
The two announced their relationship in March last year. They announced Hewitt’s pregnancy in July, and a source told Entertainment Tonight on July 16 that it was a dream come true for Hewitt. “Elsie has wanted to start a family for a long time and is thrilled to be able to start one with Pete,” a source said. “She always wanted to be a mother.”
