The White Lotus was nominated for six 2026 Golden Globe Awards, including Best Television Series in the Drama category.
Stars such as Amy Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Parker Posey were in attendance.
However, others such as Carrie Coon and Leslie Bibb were unable to attend the ceremony.
On Sunday, the cast of The White Lotus, including Amy Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Parker Posey, Lisa Manobar, Natasha Rothwell, Jason Isaacs and Walton Goggins, arrived at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards. But there were some notable absences from the star-studded ensemble, including Carrie Coon, Leslie Bibb and Michelle Monaghan.
The show was nominated in a number of categories, including Best Performance by a Male Actor (both Isaacs and Goggins), Best Performance by a Female Actor (both Posey and Wood), and Best Television Drama Series. Most of the cast members who attended the Globes were nominated.
Star Carrie Coon previously announced that she would not be able to join the rest of the cast for the big night. Coon was nominated for Best Supporting Female Actor in a Television Series for her role as Laurie Duffy in the show’s third season. Unfortunately, Ms. Kuhn was unable to attend as she is starring in a new Broadway show, “Bug,” written by her husband, Tracy Letts.
“Tonight I won’t be able to support my friends or flatter the artists I respect @GoldenGlobes,” Kuhn wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “But I appreciate this recognition and I know you’re all happy to have a seat at this table. #GoldenGlobes2026 #Bug #WhiteLotus.”
When Kuhn went to film The White Lotus, Letts was very supportive of her when she was required to be on set in Thailand for six months. He stayed home and took care of his two children.
“I wasn’t doing anything special. I was taking care of the kids while she was away working,” Letts said in a joint interview with CBS.
Kuhn added: “We know when something undeniable is going to happen, and we’re both going to make room for it to happen.”
