Netflix has renewed Emily in Paris for a sixth season.
In the series, Lily Collins plays Emily Cooper, a marketing professional from the United States who moves to Paris in search of new job opportunities, eventually moving to Italy. The synopsis for Season 5, which premiered in December, reads: “Now the director of Rome’s Grateau Agency, Emily faces professional and romantic challenges as she adjusts to life in a new city. But just when everything is going well, a career idea backfires, and the aftermath leads to heartbreak and career setbacks. Emily turns to the French lifestyle in search of stability, until a grave secret threatens one of her closest relationships. Emily is ready to embrace deeper connections, new clarity, and new possibilities.
In addition to Collins, the cast also includes Philippe Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gourie, William Abadi, Lucien Ravicount, Eugenio Franceschini, Talia Besson, Paul Foreman, Arnaud Binard, Minnie Driver, Brian Greenberg, and Michel Larocque.
Season 5 debuted at No. 2 on the Netflix Top 10 with 13.5 million views in the first four days of its release, and remained at No. 2 the following week with 13.3 million views.
Emily in Paris is produced by Darren Star, who serves as executive producer along with Tony Hernandez, Lily Burns, Andrew Fleming, Stephen Brown, Alison Brown, Robin Schiff, Grant Sloss, and Joe Murphy. Collins is a producer. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios, Darren Star Productions and Jax Media.
