North West’s Instagram account mysteriously disappeared less than three weeks after its debut.
Page Six was able to confirm that her social media profiles were either “unavailable” or “may have been deleted” when searched.
However, it is unclear whether North, her parents, or Instagram deleted the account.
On December 20th, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s eldest daughter made her Instagram debut by creating a page under her own name. Her account’s profile said it was “managed by (her) parents.”
At the time, she published blurry snapshots of herself and several stories featuring two of her friends.
The move caused consternation among fans, recalling that Kanye was adamantly against his children’s use of social media.
In a 2022 rant, the “Gold Digger” rapper accused his ex-wife of “making enemies” by allowing their daughter to post videos on TikTok.
“I’m her father and I know you don’t respect the idea of fathers or family, but I said I’m not going to allow my daughter to be used by TikTok and Disney. I have every right to say that,” he said in an Instagram clip in response to then-8-year-old North’s TikTok video with cousin Penelope Disick.
West, 48, captioned his Instagram post: “I told you all about this TikTok thing before.”
However, according to TMZ, it appears North may have changed his mind when he reunited with the SKIMS founder over Christmas, as a source revealed that he now acknowledges North’s presence on social media.
The source also revealed that the ex-couple, who were married from 2014 to 2021, were “on good terms with each other” for the sake of their four children, North, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6.
However, it appears that fans are currently taking issue with North’s social media activity.
The preteen has consistently faced criticism for making her look older than her actual age after debuting controversial piercings on the bridge of her nose and fingers, as well as fake tattoos.
It is unknown whether the thing on the nose is real or not.
Before deleting her Instagram, she lip-synced to reality star Krisian Locke’s audio: “Why are you crying? How old are you? Just get it together.”
And she captioned her post: “This is for everyone who’s upset about finger piercings.”
