Bella Hadid brought frost to Aspen.
The 29-year-old model dyed her hair a cool shade of platinum blonde and was spotted on the streets of the celebrity ski town.
Hadid was pictured vacationing in the mountains of Colorado with friends, including Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader.
The brightened outfit matched Hadid’s plush fur coat, a smart choice in 20-degree weather. She finished off her cozy ensemble with a Wild Places hat ($30) from Texas outdoor brand Poncho.
The Orebella founder braved the cold in Ugg’s knee-length Classic Tall Boots ($220) and a paisley-print cashmere scarf from sister Gigi Hadid’s Guest in Residence brand. Bella had it wrapped around a quilted red leather Chanel expandable tote bag.
Hadid’s hair has ranged in shades of brunette and blonde throughout her career, but since May she’s been rocking a honey-colored lock that hairstylist Jacob Schwartz calls “supermodel blonde.”
He told Page Six at the time that he chose the shade for its “glossy, healthy finish that perfectly captures the essence of French Riviera luxury and Bella’s off-model aesthetic.”
Her new color has a noticeably cooler tone and may be her brightest look yet, aside from the various white blonde wigs she wears for modeling work.
She often plays Gigi’s blonde brunette sister, but in 2018 she told Allure that she has naturally lighter hair than either of them.
“I just have a dark personality. Also, my sister is blonde and I’m a brunette, so it’s a good separation,” she explained. “I think it would be fun to wear a blonde wig and go back, but I’m happy with my hair. Blondes are such an angel. My sister can do anything.”
In 2022, Bella tried out the shade “Aspen Blonde” (a golden hue created by colorist Jenna Perry) for the first time, debuting it at her sister’s Guest In Residence pop-up shop at the same ski resort.
Her latest Platinum edition takes the concept to new heights.
