she feels pretty.
Amy Schumer took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to show off her 50-pound weight loss by taking a selfie in a black bodysuit.
The 44-year-old comedian captioned the blurry social media upload: “@skims lyfe (sic).”
The actress’ slimmed-down ponytail was reflected in the mirror behind her as she posed in an ensemble designed by Kim Kardashian.
Schumer revealed earlier this month that she lost 50 pounds not to “look hot” but to “survive.”
She told her social media followers: “I had a potentially fatal disease that causes extreme swelling of the face (Cushing’s Syndrome), but the internet discovered it and I was cured.”
At the time, the Emmy winner apologized to those who were “disappointed” by her transformation.
“I’m sorry for how I made you feel,” she wrote. “I’ve had plastic surgery for years and use Munjaro.”
At the time, the Trainwreck star also addressed divorce speculation surrounding her and husband Chris Fischer, whom she married in February 2018.
“Whatever happens to me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or (his) autism (diagnosis),” Schumer wrote. “Let’s just try and get through it, he’s the best.”
Later, Page Six reported that there was “zero chance” the couple would overcome their marital woes.
The following week, Schumer confirmed the breakup in a lengthy statement on Instagram.
“Blah, blah, blah, Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our seven-year marriage,” the “Last Comic Standing” alum wrote. “We love each other very much and remain focused on raising our son (Jean). We appreciate your respect for our privacy at this time.”
“It’s not because he’s blah, blah, lost weight…It’s not because he’s a hot chef who won the Genre Mésbeard Award and can still pull a hot tail,” she continued. “They are friendly and everyone has love and respect! A forever family.”
I heard that Schumer and Fisher, 45, are “still living under the same roof” with their 6-year-old child.
“Amy is looking forward to co-parenting them full-time and seeing Jean as much, if not more, than she does now,” the source said. “She hopes they will continue to be very united when it comes to raising their son.”
The source added: “Amy wants Chris to be there for Gene…If they’re considering another comedy tour in the future, she wants Chris to look after Gene and, ideally, be willing to travel with him. Amy doesn’t want to be romantically involved with him again.”
The former lovers tied the knot three months after going public with their romance in November 2017.
Jean was born in May 2019.
