Nicole Kidman is literally going back to her roots.
The actress has been embracing her naturally curly hair lately, opting for loose, airy ringless looks instead of the pin-straight styling she often does.
On Sunday, Kidman shared a rare personal snap to her Instagram, celebrating her daughter Faith’s 15th birthday by wearing a colorful “Happy Birthday” headband and holding a white frosted cake with pink candles.
In the post, she wears a Duane Adelphine top ($298) and leans into a bohemian vibe with her natural blonde curls that fall past her shoulders.
“Happy 15th birthday, baby!” the post read.
Kidman has been embracing her lighter side lately, and was seen with the same casual hairstyle on Christmas Eve.
For the Christmas party, she chose a silk boudoir-style slip dress inlaid with similar lace with an updated lightweight cotton top.
The newly single 58-year-old has opted for pin-straight or slightly wavy hair for years, but this curly style is a throwback to her signature curls from early in her career.
It is unclear whether the actress is still in Sydney, Australia, or has returned to the United States for her daughter’s birthday.
Kidman announced her split from husband Keith Urban in early September, and the end of 2025 has been a whirlwind.
Shortly after, she stepped out with her two daughters and appeared at several Fashion Week events, including daughter Sunday Rose on the Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2026 runway in Paris.
She is also one of the co-chairs of the Costume Institute exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art this spring.
