Cardi B’s best friend Ken Barbee explained why Cardi B’s boyfriend Stefon Diggs didn’t spend Christmas with his girlfriend and their newborn son.
“Cardi has kids of her own and so does Stefon,” the blogger, real name Ken Davis, tweeted on Saturday, referring to Cardi’s three older children, Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1.
“If the baby mothers think, ‘My kids shouldn’t come unless I’m there,’ that’s true, but my nieces and nephews aren’t like that,” he added, referring to Diggs’ children with multiple women.
“There are no secrets or surprises. They are a new couple, so time will tell. That’s the way it is.”
In another tweet, Ken referenced news that the New England Patriots star had given birth to multiple babies within a few months.
“And none of this is new. You’ve all been talking about these other kids all year long, so why are we pretending to be shocked?” he wrote.
“If Stefon doesn’t spend the holidays with his kids, that’s insane. Cardi has three other kids, so who’s talking to them about different energies?” Ken added.
“No breaking news here, but I’m glad everyone is finally wrapping up for the new year. Next.”
Ken also tweeted that Cardi (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar) would “never allow a man to not be accepted by his children or not be there for them.”
“It’s not her fault that she became famous, it’s not her fault that people are actually looking for, it’s not his girlfriend’s fault,” he added.
Over Christmas, Diggs, 32, skipped a vacation with the Grammy winner and her son, who was born last month.
Instead, the NFL star spent the holidays with other mothers of children, two of whom are under 1 year old.
Diggs instantly held the baby boy he shares with Kyanna Barber.
In the second image, the athlete is seen cuddling up to his daughter, who shares the same name as Kayi Benji.
Diggs also posted a video of himself dancing with Kennedy’s 2-year-old daughter, Shiloh.
Later, Diggs reposted a photo of Cardi holding her son, apparently taken at home.
The 33-year-old “WAP” host and Diggs first sparked romance rumors in February of this year, and made their romance official on Instagram in June.
Cardi, who is in the midst of divorcing rapper Offset, revealed in September that she is pregnant and expecting her first child with Diggs.
Meanwhile, last month, a former Houston Texans player was confirmed to be the father of Instagram model Eileen Lopera’s baby, Charlie Harper Diggs-Lopera, after he filed a paternity lawsuit against Diggs.
Lopera apparently wasn’t at Diggs’ house on Christmas.
The wide receiver is also the father of 9-year-old daughter Nova, whom he had with ex Tyler Murray in October 2016.
