Chris McNally and Julie Gonzalo are expecting another addition to their family.
The When Calls the Heart star, 37, shocked fans with some big news while on stage during a Western panel discussion at the Hallmark Christmas Experience earlier this month.
“Something was going on at the caterer,” McNally begins as he pulls something out of his pocket, as seen in the video obtained by Entertainment Tonight. “I don’t know if you guys knew this, but they were giving us something, and we didn’t know it at the time, but it wasn’t one, it wasn’t two, it was going to be three.”
He then pulled out a series of ultrasound photos revealing that he and Gonzalo, 44, were pregnant with their second child. In addition to their own bundles of joy, two other real-life couples who appear on the show, Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum, and Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace, are both expecting babies of their own.

“When everyone looks exhausted, you’ll know why,” McNally joked on stage as the audience cheered.
Gonzalo and McNally welcomed their first child in June 2022 and shared the news with a sweet photo of their baby’s hand wrapped around their fingers.
“Our hearts are full… Baby M, welcome ♥️,” the Cut Color Murder star captioned the post.
Since becoming a family of three, Gonzalo has occasionally shared glimpses of her life as a mother. However, the couple has chosen to keep their baby’s face out of social media and largely keep their family life out of the spotlight.
In March 2023, Gonzalo shared a photo of his baby sitting on a yellow swing while wearing an adorable yellow beanie on a snowy day. Three months later, she shared another snap of McNally holding their baby in the water during a trip to the beach.

On Mother’s Day 2024, the Hallmark star celebrated the joys of motherhood and considered it her “favorite part of life.”
“Happy Mother’s Day,” she wrote on Instagram with a photo of herself and her baby lying in a hammock. “And thank you @chrismcnally for being the most amazing father and partner a girl could ask for. ♥️”
