What you need to know
Brenda Song is a self-confessed mile girl.
“I love that I can earn Advantage Miles and loyalty points just by using it in my daily life…it kills two birds with one stone,” Song, 37, told PEOPLE. “It fits very well into a lot of people’s lifestyles, especially mine.”
Travel is a “huge” part of the Running Points star’s life, whether it’s seeing the world through work or relaxing on “mini holidays” with fiancé Macaulay Culkin. So partnering with American Airlines, Citi and Mastercard’s new travel rewards credit card, the Citi/AAdvantage Globe Card, was an easy choice for her, she says.
For Song, the card’s perks only “upgrade” her trips, which include fun trips where the whole family, including her and Culkin’s young sons Dakota, 4, and Carson, 3, can make memories.

“We went on a trip to Hawaii this summer and it was really fun, because my boys are old enough to really enjoy it now. We went to the beach every day, rode our bikes, did all the activities, and it was really special. My parents were there too, so it felt like my first family trip. It was a proper trip,” she said.

And while the trip itself is Song’s biggest expense while on the road, there’s one thing she can’t help but splurge on when she’s out and about: unique food.
“I eat wherever I am,” she reveals. “I spend a lot of time in Paris and I love French food, so we had incredible food. I almost wanted to call it an omakase, but it was a tasting menu that blew my mind. It was at Joel Robuchon’s restaurant, and it was the first time I had French food.”

Now she has her sights set on several dream vacations, from beaches to cities to glaciers. “I’d love to go to a tropical place like Fiji and go completely vegetarian. Or I’d love to do something really fun and go to Japan. But my ultimate dream place and on my bucket list is Iceland. I’d love to sit outside all night waiting for the Northern Lights,” she says.

Wherever his next adventure takes him, Song will be traveling in style, the London Tipton way.
“I don’t think anyone can match her airport ‘fit,'” she recalled of the fashionable world traveler she played on “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” during her Disney Channel days. “But I’ve really tried to get back to dressing up when I go to the airport and going all out, because it makes me feel good. Before, I was just trying to break a sweat, which is not a bad thing, but for me personally, at this stage in my life, I’m really trying to put a little more effort into[dressing up on travel days]again. So I think Ms. London Tipton is inspiring me again.”
