Willa released the trailer of ‘The Voice of Hind Rajab’, one of the most celebrated international films of 2025.
The Voice of Hind Rajab, written and directed by two-time Oscar nominee Kauser Ben Hania, won the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival and reportedly received the longest standing ovation in the festival’s history. The film also won an award at the San Sebastian Film Festival, setting records for the highest score at that festival, the Middleburg Film Festival, and the Chicago Film Festival.
Inspired by real events, the film follows Red Crescent volunteers as they fight to rescue a six-year-old girl trapped in a car during a fire in Gaza. Cast members include Saja Kirani, Motaz Malheath, Clara Cooley, and Amel Freher.
Producers include Nadim Sheikrouha, Oscar winner Odessa Ray, and James Wilson. Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Rooney Mara, Joaquin Phoenix, Alfonso Cuaron, and Jonathan Glazer will serve as executive producers. The Voice of Hind Rajab is Tunisia’s official entry for the 98th Academy Awards.
