Serena Williams has shared a rarely seen adorable snap of her daughter Adira hitting the tennis court.
On Monday, the pro athlete posted a carousel of photos on Instagram of him teaching his 2-year-old how to play the sport.
“This is me sharing my passion for tennis with my youngest daughter,” she captioned it.
In one sweet photo, the toddler was seen balancing a ball on a racket, imitating his mother’s perfect form.
Fans immediately flocked to the comments section to gush about Adira and predict that she might follow in her mother’s athletic footsteps.
One fan wrote: “Becoming a champion 🎾.” “Wow 😍😍🥺💕 2040 US Open Champion! 🏆🔥🎾💪🏾,” another joked.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion, 44, welcomed Adira with husband Alexis Ohanian in August 2023. The two are also parents to 8-year-old daughter Olympia.
Although Williams mostly prefers to keep his family life away from the spotlight, he occasionally posts rare photos with his two girls.
Back in February, the Olympian shared a snap with her “mini-me” Adira as they went for a swim during a beach vacation.
In March, Williams and her daughters appeared in their first campaign, posing for children’s clothing brand Johnny & Jack.
For the photo shoot, the family posed in a variety of matching pink looks from a limited edition collection created by Williams in collaboration with the label. She also talked about how much it meant to her to work with her daughters on the clothing line.
“This collection is all about family, so it made sense to involve my daughters in the campaign,” she told People. “Olympia had so much fun expressing her style, and Adira loved participating in it in her own way from a young age. They were naturals.”
He added that his eldest daughter was “sitting in the director’s chair with a clapboard.”
Williams retired from tennis in 2022 to focus on her growing family with Reddit co-founder Williams. She is proud of this decision.
“If I had to choose between building a tennis resume and starting a family these days, I would choose the latter,” she wrote in a personal essay at the time.
