Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), formerly known as UFOs, have been visiting Earth for decades, and the U.S. government knows about it. At least that’s what the recently released documentary The Age of Disclosure claims.
In a 110-minute self-produced doc, director Dan Farrar and the film’s executive producer, former Pentagon official Luis Elizondo, carefully laid out evidence to prove their theory.
Farah, making his feature film directorial debut, spent three years making The Age of Disclosure in secret, seeking out sources with first-hand knowledge of the government’s efforts with UAP. The film could have been dismissed as a conspiracy theory documentary, but Farah sought to increase its credibility by including interviews with more than 30 U.S. government officials. Senior politicians from both the Democratic (Senator Kirsten Gillibrand) and Republican (Secretary of State Marco Rubio) parties, as well as military and intelligence agencies, have insisted in interviews that we are not alone in the universe.
The film also includes clips from Congressional hearings on UAPs, revealing significant bipartisan support for the proposed UAP disclosure law. Indeed, Trump and subsequent presidents could have a major impact by revealing what they claim to be true, Farah said.
“I think it’s only a matter of time after this movie is released that a sitting president gets on stage and tells the world, ‘We are not alone in the universe,'” the director told Entertainment Weekly. “That’s probably the most important moment for a leader.”
One of the main voices in the film is Jay Stratton, a former Defense Intelligence Agency official and director of the government’s UAP Task Force. “I have seen non-human artifacts and non-human beings with my own eyes,” he said in the document.

According to the documentary, transmedia craft (vehicles capable of operating in space, air, and water) defy everything humans know about physics and have been operating around the world with complete impunity since at least the 1940s.

The ongoing arms race between China, Russia, and the United States since the 1940s began with the discovery of a downed UAP. According to the document, each nation wants to be the first to penetrate extraterrestrial technology in order to reverse engineer it for human use. But as defense official Stratton explains in the film, “You can’t tell your friends without telling your enemies.”
FAA involvement
Aviation safety is at risk if the Federal Aviation Administration does not track UAPs, the film concludes. (As of October 22, the FAA requires air traffic control to notify the National Tactical Security Operations and Air Traffic Safety Coordinator teams of pilot reports and air traffic personnel observations of UAP activity.)
Deep, watery cover?
If intelligence from outside our universe were to arrive on Earth and hope to remain undetected, it would most likely be hiding in deep ocean regions that humans have yet to explore, the interviews in the document say.

UAPs the size of a football field that can travel at speeds of more than 30,000 miles per hour are just a few of the types of UAPs. Some can travel at speeds of 40,000 miles per hour (sometimes faster) and others can go from 0 to thousands of miles per hour in less than a second, according to documentation.

According to Dr. Eric Davis, in 1989 the Soviet Union recovered the remains of four humanoid aliens, or extraterrestrials, from a UAP crash site where they discovered advanced directed energy weapons.

Similar to artificial intelligence, the film argues that UAP technology can either revolutionize the way we do things, such as providing clean energy sources, or completely destroy everything we know.
Will he or won’t he?
Information about UAPs is on a must-know basis. The President of the United States or the Director of the CIA may know nothing about UAP information.
“The Age of Disclosure” premiered at SXSW in March, with Variety critic Owen Gleiberman questioning why more compelling video wasn’t included in this era of pervasive surveillance. “When will we actually see something like that old video game sucker with the blurry black dots of alien spaceships cruising over water at about 300 miles per hour?” he asked.
The film began showing in select Oscar-nominated theaters in New York and Los Angeles, and is now available for rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Video.
